ServiceNow Developer / Software Asset Management

An MSP working on a government client project is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to add to their growing team. As a ServiceNow Developer specializing in the SAM module, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform to optimize software asset management processes. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, configuring SAM workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards to support software lifecycle management activities. Additionally, you'll integrate SAM with other ServiceNow modules, provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAM implementations, and stay current with platform updates and best practices to continuously improve our SAM solutions. Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on the SAM module.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, including modules, forms, workflows, and integrations.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing ServiceNow SAM module functionalities to meet business requirements.
• Strong understanding of software asset management principles, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS within the ServiceNow environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desired Skills & Experience

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in Software Asset Management.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping modules.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
• Familiarity with software licensing models and compliance regulations.
• Previous experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades and migrations.
