They are seeking an experienced and dynamic EMPO Director to lead and enhance their employee performance and operational strategies. The EMPO Director will play a crucial role in driving organizational success by developing and implementing programs that improve employee performance, engagement, and productivity. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in agile methodologies, performance management, operational excellence, and leadership development. Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, Business Management, or related discipline required
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience delivering large scale projects required
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a PMO management position required
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft ADO or similar solution
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced startup or mid-size company environment, demonstrating adaptability, a hands-on approach, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, rapidly changing conditions.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Ensures project management lifecycle (Scrum) is defined and consistently applied to managed efforts
  • Sets clear goals and objectives for the project management team (2-3 direct reports at this time)
  • Responsible for definition of project management methodology with alignment to stakeholder and business needs
  • Facilitates cross-functional meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Elicits business KPIs associated with projects and collaborates with Finance to measure pre/post deployment
  • Participates in the architectural assessment of new concepts
  • Solves problems by engaging stakeholders to work through viable options
  • Provides weekly status reporting to senior leadership on in-flight and upcoming projects
  • Ensures risk and issue mitigation processes are applied to keep projects on-track
  • Builds relationships with business stakeholders and third-parties to ensure project deliverables are accomplished in alignment with project timelines
  • Manages special projects identified for the organization

Office Location
  • Addison, TX
  • 3 days onsite // 2 days WFH
