Cybersecurity Engineer

This company is the largest power futures exchange in North America, derivatives exchange offering price, credit, and liquidity risk management to participants. They have introduced the world's largest array of environmental and electric power futures and options contracts.

This company is seeking innovative individuals to join their team in Tyson’s Corner. Candidates must be able to work into office daily initially, with a hybrid schedule (minimum of 3 days in the office) negotiable after the initial period.

What You Will Be Doing:

• The ideal candidate(s) should possess a strong passion for technology and a proven track record in a Cyber/Information Security role, with knowledge and/or experience in the following areas:
• Network security vulnerability assessment and testing
• Physical security vulnerability assessment and testing
• Evaluating requests for additional personnel access
• Developing new solutions to address security issues
• Assisting in reviews of security-related systems and their configurations, such as DLP, Anti-Malware, System Configuration, etc.
• Reviewing and assessing security intelligence
• Conducting security-related assessments and tracking findings
• Performing additional team duties as needed
• Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Required Skills & Experience:

• Over 4 years of experience in a technically oriented Cyber or related role
• Over 4 years of experience in a direct technical role
• Extensive knowledge of technology and security-related subjects
