Exciting Job opening for a full-time Security Installation Technician, the firm is located in Wicker Park, Chicago. However, you will be driving around Chicagoland to support clients. You would be responsible for managing installation of luxury technology integration systems, giving you an opportunity to contribute to delivering world-class technology solutions.

As an Installation Technician you will be on the forefront of creating sophisticated smart home systems. They are looking for a talented technician who excels in running wire, installing technology devices, and collaborating with a team to drive projects to successful completion. The position offers you the chance to work closely with design and project management teams. Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Security Technician or in a similar role
  • Hans-on experience with networks, control systems, intercom systems, and surveillance systems (e.g., Salient Systems, Avigilon Systems)
  • Familiarity with security systems (e.g., Honeywell, ELK, Bosch) and access control systems (e.g., Openpath, LenelS2)
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage project hours and work orders in company system
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience in luxury residential technology installations
  • Proficiency in advanced smart home automation systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently

Tech Breakdown
  • 40% Running wire and installing technology devices
  • 30% Coordinating with lead installers and managing onsite tasks
  • 20% Communication with design and project management teams
  • 10% Logging project hours and completing work orders
Daily Responsibilities
  • 50% Hands-on installation and setup of smart home technology systems
  • 30% Collaborating with team members and managing project scopes
  • 20% Ensuring high-quality installations and effective communication with stakeholders
