Senior Systems Architect

The company is located in Washington D.C. and the candidate will need to come on site.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead the technical design and deployment of systems architecture across diverse platforms.
• Establish the system workflows and pathways.
• Oversee continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Drive the implementation of deployment automation (as specified in section 4.12).
• Collaborating with multi-vendor application teams to promote a unified system architecture approach.
• Directing the maintenance of F5 and other architectural components.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for system architecture components, adept at identifying and resolving issues.
• Demonstrating proficiency in issue identification and troubleshooting, continuously driving architecture improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Over 8 years of professional experience specializing in systems and networking architecture, concentrating on cloud environments and gateway services.
• Proficient with F5 LTM/ASM/WAF and API Gateway technologies, demonstrating hands-on expertise.
• Skilled in leadership and communication, fostering strong collaboration with vendors and teams.
• Possesses deep knowledge of LTM configuration (VIPs, Persistence, SNAT, SSL, etc.) and extensive experience in writing and debugging iRules.
• Experienced in integrating and supporting Venafi certificate management for F5 ATM/ADC and Layer7 API Gateway solutions.
• Proficient in automation, observability, and telemetry integration using monitoring tools.
• Well-versed in troubleshooting tools such as tcpdump, ssldump, OpenSSL, QKView, logs, curl, Wireshark, Fiddler, and Postman.
• Additionally, possesses foundational knowledge of Big-IQ.
