Director of Software Engineering

Job Description

This company is a late-stage startup within the consumer service industry. They are entering a growth phase and are looking to bring on a Director of Software Engineering. Their tech-enabled platform allows for users to schedule moving services ranging from local to long distance moves. Their technology has modernized the industry while delivering top-notch customer experience.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of 10-15 engineers but also still be hands on when necessary. You will be the leading voice on software development decisions and the future roadmap of their core product. This role is fully remote, and you will be able to work anywhere in the United States.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ Years of Professional Experience
• 5+ Years of Experience as a People Manager
• 6+ Years of Individual Contributor Experience
• Strong Technical Background with Python and React
• Deep Understanding of Best Software Engineering Practices
• Ability to Manage and Deliver Projects through Entire Lifecycle
• Great Communication Skills
