As we continue to expand our operations, we are actively seeking a seasoned IT Director with a robust background in cybersecurity and systems management to lead our technology initiatives.
The IT Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technology strategy, ensuring the security, resilience, and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure. This leadership position requires a forward-thinking individual with a passion for cybersecurity and a proven track record in managing complex systems and cyber security within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect sensitive data and critical infrastructure.
- Oversee the implementation of robust security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to proactively address potential risks.

- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure IT systems that support the organization's operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology requirements and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of critical systems, including servers, networks, and cloud-based infrastructure.

- Manage and inspire a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development.

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and cybersecurity standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive measures to mitigate cybersecurity threats.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to drive business success.
- Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in IT leadership roles with a focus on cybersecurity and systems management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector or a similar technology-intensive industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a strong plus.
