Linux Engineering Manager

A company in West Midtown is looking for a Linux Engineering Manager. They are a leading manufacturing company specializing in innovative software solutions in the construction space. As they prepare to scale their IT department, they are seeking an experienced linux manager to lead their team and enhance their infrastructure.

As manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing both our physical and virtual cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust network security, and leading a dedicated team of IT professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to their growth while enhancing operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8-10 years of experience working with Linux servers, and the LAMP stack
• Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD
• Aiding in the migration of our tech stack to cutting-edge technologies
• Excellent communications skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Ability to develop and implement new ideas
• Prior leadership experience
• BS degree in Engineering or related field
• Ability to commute to the office 3 times weekly

What You Will Be Doing

• 50% managing, 50% hands-on work
