Helpdesk Engineer

A growing construction company in Atlanta is looking to hire a Helpdesk Engineer on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be working out of their Austell, GA office space and performing level 1 desktop support in a mixed Windows and Linux environment. The client is looking for someone with a strong technical understanding and able to help users with various needs.

You will be able to gain hands-on experience on the engineering side, and really grow your career/skillset in the tech industry. Priorities will include setting up new computers, password resets, managing accounts in google suite, and supporting their internal users. If you are someone that is looking to grow professionally in your career, then this is the perfect role for you!
Required skills and Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience with Desktop support
  • Level 1 support experience
  • Familiarity with in both a Windows and Linux environment
  • Onsite and Remote Support Experience
  • Expertise with Troubleshooting
  • Strong Communication Skills
Desired skills and Experience
  • Experience in small to medium sized companies
  • Strong technical skills – being able to help users on various needs
  • Application Support Experience
  • VPN or Network Support Knowledge
  • Any familiarity with Linux – home lab, work experience
