IT Field Technician

We are working with a national homebuilder and land developer in Austin, TX. They are looking for an IT Field Technician to join their team. They need someone willing to go out to the various field locations across the valley to help set up some of their newer construction sites IT needs – installing printers, running cables, setting up new workstations, and installing Starlink/Cradle Points/LAN at new sites. They are looking for someone who is comfortable being customer facing and working on deskside support, can effectively deliver instructions to nontechnical personnel for how the satellite office infrastructure will run, and is fine travelling around Austin day-to-day to complete the job. Technically, they need someone strong with the Windows suite, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, hardware set up/installation, and basic networking. This is a 3-6 month contract to hire position located in Austin, Texas. Required Skills & Experience
