Position: IAM Engineer Expert - Authentication

Overview:

A client of mine is on a mission to safeguard the future of banking with top-tier talent like you. As the IAM Engineer Expert for Authentication, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and privacy of our bank's operations.

Responsibilities:

• Champion Security and Compliance: Be at the forefront of ensuring our Authentication Services meet and exceed security and privacy standards, as well as industry best practices.

• Collaborative Project Delivery: Partner with our Portfolio Manager to lead Authentication projects, hitting key milestones that make a real impact across the bank.

• Consulting Excellence: Offer your expertise to our business units when integrating authentication for new systems, making sure we stay at the forefront of innovation.

• Other Opportunities: Dive into various exciting projects and tasks as assigned, keeping every day fresh and filled with new challenges.

Qualifications:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Here's what we're looking for:

• Education and Experience: An Associate Degree, backed by a solid 6+ years of experience in Information Security or cross-functional department management.

• Project Prowess: Demonstrated success in gathering requirements and delivering results, with a focus on Identity Federation/SSO using Ping Federate, Ping Access, Ping Directory, and PingOne MFA products.

• Authentication Expertise: Proficiency with SAML, OAuth, and OIDC, along with experience transitioning from legacy Identity and SSO solutions to Ping Identity products.

• Collaborative Spirit: Proven ability to work with application teams to seamlessly integrate Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication solutions.

• Security Savvy: Experience in administering IAM and/or CIAM systems, access controls, security, and risk management, including knowledge of regulatory requirements and laws such as PCI, FFIEC, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, GLBA, ISO 17799, ITIL, or NIST.

• Methodology Mastery: Comfortable with both Agile and Waterfall working methods, adapting seamlessly to changing project dynamics.

• Integrity and Excellence: A track record of acting with integrity, taking pride in your work, seeking excellence, staying curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, these qualifications will set you apart:

• Professional Certifications: CISSP or CISM certification is a plus.

• Directory Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and LDAP Directories.

• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with SSL/TLS encryption, RADIUS, privileged accounts, SoapUI, and vendor API integration.

• Data Analysis: Experience with SIEM products, SQL, or other query languages.

• Coding Skills: Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, and/or JavaScript.
