Our client is seeing a highly skilled Lead Image Processing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced image processing algorithms and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve complex problems in the field of computer vision and imaging.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in image processing, computer vision, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
• Proficiency in C++
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle challenging technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Desired Skills & Experience

•  Experience with real-time image processing and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of image acquisition systems, sensor technologies, and related hardware.
•  Familiarity with cloud-based image processing and distributed computing frameworks.

Daily Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of image processing engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment. Define the strategic direction for image processing projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Design, develop, and optimize state-of-the-art image processing algorithms and models. Apply techniques in computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning to address complex challenges.
• Oversee multiple image processing projects from inception to deployment. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to integrate image processing solutions into larger systems and products. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Develop and implement rigorous testing and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and robustness of image processing systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in image processing and computer vision. Drive innovation by integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies into our solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of algorithms, processes, and project status. Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and external partners
