Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead iOS Mobile Developer to spearhead the development of our iOS application. In this pivotal role, you will lead a small team of developers, guide the technical direction of our iOS app, and ensure that we deliver a seamless, high-quality user experience. You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to drive the development of new features and enhancements while maintaining best practices in code quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead iOS Development: Oversee and manage the development of our iOS application using Swift, ensuring it meets both functional and design specifications.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical direction and support to foster a collaborative and productive development environment.
• Architecture & Design: Contribute to the architectural design of the app, including the implementation of scalable and maintainable code, and integrate new features and technologies.
• Code Quality: Implement and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and debugging to ensure the application is robust and free of critical issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to align on project goals, user needs, and product vision.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize app performance, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience.
• User Feedback: Incorporate user feedback and data-driven insights to refine and enhance the app’s functionality and usability.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of iOS development experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling iOS applications.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in Swift, Objective-C (a plus), and familiarity with modern iOS frameworks and libraries.
• Leadership: Prior experience leading a team of developers, with strong mentoring and communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for debugging and optimizing complex issues.
• Design Sensibility: Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to translate design concepts into functional, high-quality code.
• Agile Environment: Experience working in an agile development environment, with a focus on iterative progress and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Startups: Experience working in an early-stage startup or fast-paced environment.
• App Store: Demonstrated experience with app deployment and maintenance on the Apple App Store.
• Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Git, JIRA, or similar project management and version control systems.
