Principal Frontend Engineer

My client is seeking a Principal Frontend Engineer to join their new team. They're a dynamic and innovative stealth startup, poised to disrupt the fintech industry with their groundbreaking technology. As a Principal Frontend Engineer you will lead the development of my clients web applications. As a key member of their engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product's user experience and interface. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that push the boundaries of technology. The ideal candidate is a self starter, team player, and has great communication skills!

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in frontend development, with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
