Our Client, an E-Learning company focused on providing assessments and personalized instructional materials, are currently looking to bring aboard a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to their team. As a QA Engineer here, you will be focused on driving their products/platform forward through your experience in testing software development.
They are looking for someone who is local to the Boston area.
Technical Requirements:
- Full Stack Testing Experience: Demonstrated experience in testing across the entire technology stack, including frontend, API, and backend components.
- Frontend Testing: Flexibility with frontend testing tools; experience with at least one popular framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest, etc.).
- API Testing: Proficiency in using Postman for API testing, including creating and running test collections, handling environment variables, and automating API tests.
- Backend Testing: Strong skills in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries for data validation and analysis. Familiarity with JSON, server log analysis, and troubleshooting using stack trace information.
Automation Testing:
- Ability to write automated tests in one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience in building automation test frameworks from scratch, demonstrating a deep understanding of test architecture and best practices.
Manual Testing:
- Experience in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ability to execute manual tests effectively and document results for further analysis.
