Staff Threat Response Engineer

We are partnered with a fast growing marking automation company that helps businesses create more enhanced and personalized experiences for their customers. They are currently growing out their Security team and are looking for a Threat Response Engineer to identify and mitigate threats in their cloud first security environment.

As a Threat Response Engineer, you will develop and implement threat detection mechanisms to mitigate threats real time. You should have ample experience building out robust security tooling to improve security postures. Candidates for this role should have a wide variety of threat, cloud security, and automation experience. This role is fully remote and can be done virtually anywhere around the United States.


Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of Security Engineering experience
• Experience securing cloud environments
• Strong experience with SIEM and SOAR technologies
• Knowledge of cloud security technologies, such as Lacework and/or Orca
• Experience working with DevOps automation tools, such as Kubernetes and Terraform

Desired Skills & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Cyber Security is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or GIAC
