Job Description 

My client is an up-and-coming startup and their product is a large language model that extracts data from any document without training. Regardless of type, format, or language, their advanced document understanding API can contextualize information, analyze layouts, and find answers to natural language questions across any number of documents.

They are looking for a Product Design Lead to work directly with the Chief Design Officer and other product team leads to expand and continuously refine their suite of products and features. You will be pivotal in helping to shape the design culture of the company.
This is a full-time remote role. It is also a great opportunity to build, shape, and lead high-impact projects that drive innovation and growth in the A.I. industry.
Compensation: $140k-$150k + Equity
Required Skills & Experience 
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies is a huge plus
  • 5+ years experience in design
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of creative professionals.
  • Interaction and product design skills with a strong command of design fundamentals
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
  • Ownership of design projects
  • Execution of product designs to a high level of craft and finish
  • Maintain high standards of efficiency
  • Participating in a group critique
  • Collaborate with the production team to define the production process
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication of design projects, updates, and strategy
