QA Engineer / Chicago / Hybrid

Cutting Edge Trading company looking to add a QA Automation Engineer to join their Chicago Office. This company develops and implements risk management technology for US equity, futures, and options markets. Their advances solutions are utilized by many of the world's leading hedge funds, bank trading desks, and proprietary trading firms. You will be collaborating with their growing engineering team and building test scripts from scratch. This is the role for you if you’ve built test scripts from scratch and have worked at an options and trading industry.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years in a QA role including 1-3 years of technical experience
• Experience working in the trading and options space
• Experience testing with statistical methods and data analytics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff.
• Detailed oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Work in a high energy environment and ownership of tasks
• Professional, motivated attitude

Desired Skills & Experience

• Fluent in C#
• Working knowledge of SQL, Selenium a plus

• Experience with Java and Python test scripts

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown

• 50% Manual Testing
• 50% Automation Testing

Daily Responsibilities

• 20% UI
• 60% API
• 20% SQL/Database
