We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our clients team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage robust network infrastructures to support business operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and identify networking needs and requirements.
  • Network Maintenance: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes to ensure seamless connectivity. Perform regular maintenance to keep networks running efficiently.
  • Security Management: Develop and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Conduct regular security assessments and stay updated on potential threats.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and upgrades. Generate detailed reports on network performance and status for stakeholders.
  • Support and Training: Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff. Conduct training sessions to enhance team capabilities regarding network management.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in network design and architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
  • Experience with network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
  • Familiarity with wireless networking technologies and VoIP.
  • Competence in using network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds).
