Senior Network Engineer

One of the leading providers in the food and beverage service industry, is looking to expand their IT Team by bringing on a Senior Network Engineer. This company strives in distributing and providing excellent food and beverage products.

In this role you will be responsible for improving and deploying firewall security, along with being able to handle multiple projects and maintenance of the network. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Cisco switches and routers, Fortinet suite (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiWeb, etc.), and wireless components such as Ruckus.
This is a contract-to-hire position, onsite 3 days a week, located in Dallas, TX. Hourly rate will be around $50-65/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience hands on experience working with firewalls, including Fortinet, FortiGate, Forti analyzer, or Forti manager
• 5+ years’ experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting network protocols and technologies such as:
  • Wide Area Networks
  • Local Area Networks
  • Routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, or MPLS
• Strong experience working with Cisco switches and routers
• Strong background in wireless technology such as Rukus

Desired Skills & Experience

• BS in Computer Science or IT related field
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCIE, etc.
• Ability to be a team player and work in a team environment
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills

The Offer
