Managing Director, Equity Research / REITs

A financial research firm is seeking a Managing Director of Equity Research to lead research in the REIT sector and drive the development of research products and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in equity research and an existing following.

This is a Managing Director position with a partner track, and the ideal candidate will likely have 7+ years of experience on the buyside, sellside, and/or within industry. They must have strong modeling, valuation, and critical thinking skills. They will be responsible for overseeing the equity research process and ensuring the quality of research.

Note - this specific role is to cover the REIT sector.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in equity research in REITs
• Strong understanding of equity markets and securities analysis.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry contacts.

What You Will Be Doing:

Daily Responsibilities:

• 50% conducting equity research and analysis
• 50% collaborating with other teams and cultivating client relationships
