Job Overview:
The Senior IT Project Manager oversees all phases of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet objectives. This role covers IT infrastructure, network, security, and business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex IT projects from initiation to completion, adhering to budget, scope, and timelines.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously following PMI standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, milestones, and resources.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and provide status reports to stakeholders, managing risks and issues.
  • Handle scope changes, document them, and get stakeholder approval.
  • Create and manage project schedules and change control.
  • Develop and execute communication plans for all project levels.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Work with IT leaders to establish and implement IT PMO standards and processes.
  • Manage project budgets and liaise with project controllers.
  • Coordinate with internal and external project managers to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to safety policies, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • PMP certification
  • 8+ years as a Technical Project Manager with successful complex project delivery
  • Strong teamwork, problem-solving skills, and decision-making ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Proven experience managing projects with budgets over $1,000,000
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
  • US work authorization and willingness to travel 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with new COTS implementations (ERP, TMS, WMS, etc.)
  • Complex IT systems integration and manufacturing systems knowledge
  • IT infrastructure expertise (storage, networking, etc.)
  • Familiarity with SAP and IT PMO establishment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
