New long-term contractual opportunity with a Houston-based company in need of a Governance Analyst with experience in Generative AI. 

Job Title: Generative AI Governance Analyst
Location: Houston, TX (77002) 
Work Schedule: Hybrid - 2 days on-site / 3 days remote
Target Hourly Rate: $65/Hr W2

Generative AI Governance Analyst
  • Collaborate with Legal & Compliance to develop and implement AI governance policies and frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and best practices for responsible AI use.
  • Regularly review and update policies to align with new regulations and technological advancements.
  • Stay updated on AI-related laws and regulations and make sure the team follows them in their AI endeavors.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to adapt to regulatory changes in AI governance methods.
  • Perform ethical assessments of AI projects to ensure they align with organizational values and social standards.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with AI implementations.
  • Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of AI systems for compliance and risk.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Integration Center to ensure AI systems are secure from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure that AI systems comply with data privacy laws and standards.
  • Develop protocols for handling and reporting security breaches or privacy violations.
  • Conduct Data & AI Council meetings - engaging with internal stakeholders to align AI governance with organizational goals.
  • Manage GenAI Hackathons
  • Act as a liaison between the AI governance team and external stakeholder; AI partners and customers.
  • Collaborate with Talent on AI impact on people and culture.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on AI governance and compliance for employees.
  • Raise awareness about responsible AI practices and the importance of governance among staff.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Talen on communications; internal and external
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of AI governance initiatives.
