We are working with a national bank that has been in business since 1980 with over 740 branches across 17 states. They love to give back by volunteering and providing financial support to their communities.
They are looking for a Senior Network Engineer/Network Engineer III to join their team on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, installation, configuration, break-fix support, design, and daily operation of all aspects of the LAN/WAN network infrastructure. They are ideally looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience working with Cisco VXLAN in a data center environment and Cisco Nexus Dashboard. As well as a CCNP or CCDP or the willingness to obtain certification within a 2-year period and excellent Customer Service experience.
The position is a full-time direct hire opportunity that will be primarily remote. They are open to speaking with candidates in the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, TX areas. The position will be on call one week per month for their Austin, TX or Spring, TX datacenters if there is an incident. They have about 6 incidents per year occur where you could get called in. - Experience with installation, configuration, break-fix support, design, and daily operation of all aspects of LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
- Experience working in a datacenter environment or working with Cisco VXLAN.
- Experience working with Cisco Nexus Dashboard.
- CCNP or CCDP Certification or willing to obtain certification within a 2-year period.
- Excellent Customer Service experience.
