As a valued member of the Data and Analytics team, the Senior Financial Data Analyst position plays a vital role in driving the effectiveness of the organization's data resources, supporting both daily functions and overarching strategic initiatives. We seek a candidate who approaches data analysis with a strong focus on business outcomes and has demonstrated the ability to foster growth within their role. Required Skills & Experience
  • Assessing data quality and relevance through in-depth analysis.
  • Reviewing reports and performance metrics to detect and rectify coding issues, thus refining data filtration processes.
  • Uncovering and interpreting patterns and trends within datasets to aid in problem diagnosis and resolution.
  • Establishing and enhancing data quality monitoring protocols.
  • Contributing to the development of processes and systems for continuous data quality assurance, ensuring accuracy and availability for stakeholders and critical business functions.
  • Collaborating with technical and managerial teams to identify opportunities for process enhancement, propose system adjustments, and formulate data governance strategies.
  • Crafting insightful Power BI reports for management, offering valuable insights into trends, patterns, and forecasts derived from pertinent data.
  • Partnering with data engineers and business units to enhance data models feeding into Power BI, fostering improved data accessibility.
  • Generating value-added financial and operational reports for executive and field management consumption within a collaborative team environment.
  • Innovating new approaches to data retrieval, visualization, and analysis across diverse operational, geographic, and financial datasets.
  • Leading stakeholder engagements to gather comprehensive requirements for system features and improvements.
  • Overseeing Data Cataloging, Lineage, Security, and Controls across the data marketplace.
  • Executing SQL scripts to validate data conversions and conduct ad-hoc analyses.
  • Compiling comprehensive analysis reports to empower stakeholders in decision-making processes based on factual insights and trends.
  • Acquiring domain expertise and delivering end-user training sessions.
  • Rectifying corrupt data and resolving coding errors and associated issues.
  • Supporting Data and Analytics leadership in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and constructing dashboards for ongoing business reporting and analysis.
  • Identifying, documenting, and addressing areas for process improvement and automation within data workflows.
