As the App Developer within the Genomics Research Center, you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining interactive Shiny applications tailored for genomics data analysis and visualization. Collaborating closely with their research and domain experts, you'll translate their data needs into user-friendly applications, utilizing your proficiency in R programming and understanding of genomics data formats. Your responsibilities will include developing interactive visualizations, ensuring application functionality, and conducting thorough testing. We're seeking a candidate with strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to best practices in software development. • 5+ years of experience
• Rshiny application development
• Visualization libraries and tools (reactable, datatable, ggplot2, plotly, etc.)
• Genomic data experience
• RDMS (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Code management and documentation

Desired Skills & Experience

• Preferred: Additional experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flask, Django)
• Experience in SQL for database querying, especially for Genomics data
• Strong problem-solving skills for data integration, quality, and performance optimization
• M.S. in Computer Science or related field
