Entry Level IT Technician/VoIP/Network/Troubleshooting/Cabling

We are currently seeking a skilled IT Technician to join a team in Lebanon, Ohio. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and a desire to grow in the field of network and security.

Responsibilities:

1. Cabling and Fiber Cabling: Install, terminate, and test network cabling and fiber optic connections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

2. VoIP Support: Assist with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone systems.

3. Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, bandwidth issues, and network device malfunctions.

4. WiFi Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot wireless networking equipment to ensure reliable WiFi connectivity throughout the organization.

5. Password Resets: Provide support to end-users for password resets and account lockouts, ensuring timely resolution of access issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in IT support or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of cabling standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with VoIP phone systems and network protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
