A fintech -based automated investment company that handles billions in client funds is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the team. In this role you will excel if you have a software background and can develop APIs with python while building out new ETL pipelines to support key trading and portfolio investment systems. The main tech stack for this role includes Python, NumPy, Pandas, Flask, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Plotly, and Django. The ability to ingest and integrate large amounts of real-time data is a plus for this position. This is a local Los Angeles based hybrid position, so you must be local to apply!
Required Skills & Experience- 7+ years professional Data Engineering Experience
- Experience in a Python-based Software Engineer role
- API development experience
- NumPy, Pandas, or Flask
- Experience working within MongoDB or PostgreSQL
- Interest in finance/fintech/investment management
- Bachelors in STEM field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
