DevOps Engineer - On-Prem - Philadelphia

Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Ansible for automations, on-premises infrastructure management experience, light on-premises Kubernetes proficiency, and scripting abilities in Bash, PowerShell, or Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing deployment processes, ensuring system reliability, and optimizing our infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible for configuration management, provisioning, and deployment tasks.
• Manage and administer on-premises infrastructure, including servers, networking components, and storage systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system stability and performance.
• Work closely with the security team to enforce best practices for system hardening and compliance.
• Evaluate, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration (on-premises).
• Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and automation scripts.
• Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of DevOps processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to provide support for critical incidents outside of regular business hours.
