Required Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience with regulatory implementation programs.
  • Strong communication skills and/or experience working with internal clients.
  • Good knowledge of markets and swap products.
  • Data analysis/business analysis experience.
  • Good understanding of markets products trade lifecycle, risk taxonomy to be able to communicate with senior desk stakeholders, while having the ability to translate the requirements to data engineers and technology programmers.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge of margin calculations, financial reporting, legal entities, capital calculations.
  • PMO/reporting skills.
  • SQL/data architecture experience.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Read proposed and finalized SEC, CFTC FRB, FINRA, etc. rules, create executive summaries and assess the implications of the rule to Markets Businesses, Risk and Finance etc.
  • Manage implementation of system and process changes based on the rule text. Provide senior management reporting.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts, write clear business requirements documentation for trade capture, refence data, risk and reporting systems. Where needed, manage User Acceptance Testing for multiple complex systems.
  • Clear, succinct communication of program updates, risks, issues and business impact to C-level senior managers (verbal and written).
  • Coordinate with internal groups like Finance, Operations, Risk, Technology etc. to agree on implementation approach, timelines and path forward to address the SEC rule requirements.
  • Manage the dependencies, risks/issues, milestones and action items proactively.
  • Succinct and precise communication with stakeholders and senior management on the program progress.
