Will be part of a central FINRA 4210 Program Management Team, charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams while imparting subject matter expertise and know-how. Contract Duration: 6+ Months
- Bachelor’s/University degree.
- 8+ years of experience in project management working with major banks, preferably in a Senior role.
- Experience with Capital Markets Transformation.
- Experience with FINRA 4210.
- Tier 1 Bank or Big 4 experience.
- Regulatory Change or transformation work.
- Ability to lead a workstream.
- Good stakeholder management.
- Strong project and program management skills. Able to gain consensus among project team and stakeholders, and drive initiatives to completion effectively.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capability.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectives.
- Thought leadership in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Master’s degree.
- Project Management certifications e.g., PMP or equivalent.
- Experience in Risk and Regulatory related projects.
- Experience analyzing large datasets using SQL, Python.
- Transformation/change management/PMO experience with a focus on Capital Markets initiatives to facilitate compliance with FINRA 4210 for a material client population.
- Partner with the Business, Legal, Risk and Operations to facilitate redocumentation and operational readiness for FINRA 4210.
- Represent Markets Transformation across various streams of work to ensure the timely delivery of key initiatives, milestones, issue tracking, and issue remediation.
- Working knowledge of Markets business and products and/or regulatory capital.
- Effective communication with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the program/project, including obtaining buy-in for business process and infrastructure changes.
- Work closely with the Markets Business and Technology teams to ensure that the data is accurate, complete, has proper data lineage, and help steer the overall data governance.
- Deliver effective, articulate, and concise presentations to senior management covering project/program status, resourcing and plans.
- Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships across Global Markets front-to-back stakeholders.
- Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Sales, Business Managers, Product Owners, Risk, Legal and Operations teams.
- Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs.
- Engage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they arise.
