Lead Data Scientist/Analyst doing A/B Recommendation Testing

A growing travel company is hiring a Lead Data Scientist/Analyst to work on POCs for their customer-facing website focused on making accurate destination recommendations. Their current system only recommends the cheapest option first, so they are building a new site that will provide travel excursions/trip recommendations based on customer location and preferences. 

In this role you will do A/B testing and use recommendation engines, so any Adobe Analytics is a plus. They also use snowflake, AWS, and Elastic Search. This position will be one day onsite in Florida and is a 12 month W2 contract with extension or conversion. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in a leadership position as a Data Scientist/Analyst
• Experience with A/B testing
• Recommendation Engine experience (Adobe Analytics preferred)
• Cloud Experience (AWS)
• Experience with Snowflake, Elastic Search, Python

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors in STEM field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Any interest in Java development
