GenAI ML Engineer / Hybrid in Phoenix

A leading FinTech company is seeking a top-notch Senior Machine Learning Engineer for a direct hire position to support their high-traffic, high-impact products

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in both Python and Java, with exposure to cloud technologies and a strong background in machine learning. This role involves developing ML algorithms on top of a speech-to-text application to enhance customer service efficiency and experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably GCP (but open to any cloud).
• Ability to mentor junior staff and participate in high-level discussions on architecture and microservices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience with speech-to-text applications.
• Familiarity with financial institutions or the banking industry.
• Previous experience in research and development.
• Ability to generate patents or intellectual property.
