Application Security Lead

Attention! A Lead Product/Application Security Engineer role is available at a SAS company based out of Pittsburg, PA. This company works with clinics and individual hospitals within the largest health systems globally. This role requires you to be able to hit the ground running, diving into the weeds, with hands on the keyboard, leveraging a software background in engineering and development.

This is a hybrid position for those in the Pittsburg area. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be proficient in Python/Java, and have extensive experience in AWS architecture and services, particularly in securing AWS environments and API integrations. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in debugging code, identifying security vulnerabilities, and utilizing internal tool sets effectively. Past leadership experience and the want to make an impact on the security team is sought after.


Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience of AppSec.
• Background in Software Engineering/Development.
• Experience with AWS environments and API integrations.
• Experience with Python/Java.
• Expertise in debugging code, id sec vulnerabilities, and utilizing internal tool sets effectively .
