Security Engineer

A large, global law firm based out of Pittsburgh, PA is looking to bring on a Security Engineer in their downtown location. This position will be an integral part of their Cyber Security Program, acting as a strong general blue team engineer with an emphasis on vulnerability management. The organization is utilizing a hybrid work model, so you will need to have access to their downtown location twice/week.
This engineer will need to have a strong understanding of infrastructure and infrastructure tooling, as you’ll be communicating with the infrastructure and development teams. Being able to speak to routing, switches, firewalls, servers, and cloud technologies will be highly useful. The role itself will be a mix of high-level IR, Vulnerability Management progression and ownership, Azure suite of tools including Defender and Sentinel. Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 4-7 years’ experience within Cyber Security and Security Engineering
• Strong experience with EDR and XDR tools and navigation
• Vulnerability management and incident response oversight
• Knowledge of Cloud Security, Microsoft tools preferred
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure

Desired Skills & Experience

• Cyber certifications preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in equivalent fields
