AV Technician

A major Ecommerce company is currently hiring a Desktop Support Engineer to work in office in Pleasanton, CA. You will be responsible for the Audio/Visual environment, A/V events, and video conference meetings. Day to day you will administer the AV systems, health checks on meeting facilities, testing protocols, set up before hand and support during meetings. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience as an AV Technician or related position
• Strong communication
• Customer service approach
• Zoom and Microsoft Teams video conferencing
• Video camera operation including recording and switching
• Audio/visual signal flow and routing
• Comfortable with multitasking and staying calm in high stress situations

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Hopin suite of tools (Streamable, Superwave, and StreamYard)
• Previous FOH or live audio production experience
• Previous event production experience
• CTS certification
• Familiar with PC and Mac
• Network fundamentals

• 20% Projects
• 80% Maintenance

• Competitive Pay: Up to $34 per hour, DOE
• Contract Duration: 6 months
