Senior API Developer - Onsite

A regional bank in Rhode Island is looking to add an API developer to its brand-new digital banking team. This is a fully onsite in Providence role that is looking to hire on a full-time basis. The ideal skill set is highly skilled in REST APIs, Auth0/SSO software, C#, .NET, and SQL. Nice to haves are cloud experience and security, financial, or banking experience. Most importantly, they are looking for a candidate who can be a great culture add to the team, not just a cog in the wheel.

In this role, you are tasked with developing the entirety of their core digital banking applications and APIs from scratch. As the bank uses many third-party APIs, you will be connecting them all and developing new ones.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive REST API experience
• Familiarity with SSO software such as Auth0, JW2 tokens, etc.
• Development experience with C# and .NET 6+
• Ability to commute to the Providence office 5 days a week
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or related field

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in any of the following industries: Finance, Security, Banking, Insurance
• ETL experience
• Python development experience
