This company is an authorized retailer of Verizon and is hiring for a Network Administrator Level 3 to join their team! In this role, you’d manage corporate networks by installing LANs, WANs, network segments, intranets, and data communication systems. Regularly evaluate network performance, assist and train users, and resolve network issues. Preferred experience with SDWAN, Azure Virtual Networks, and Cisco Meraki.
This position is Hybrid MWF onsite in Raleigh, NC.

Role and Responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure functions (Network, Server, Cloud).
- Develop creative infrastructure solutions for business technology challenges.
- Lead cross-group technology initiatives, identifying process and technology gaps.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure networking (vNets, Resource Groups, etc.).
- Manage Cisco Meraki (Templates, traffic shaping, content filtering).
- Use network protection tools (DNS Protection, Intrusion Detection/Prevention).
- Administer firewall rules, implement Azure VPN, troubleshoot network issues.
- Maintain network connectivity across corporate and store locations.
- Develop and enforce network resource policies, including firewall rules.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup using Azure.
- Recommend and implement security improvements and system upgrades.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, addressing bandwidth issues.
- Create technical support documentation and manage Confluence for team redundancy.
- Utilize Jira for IT projects, ensuring proper documentation and realistic deadlines.
- Collaborate with development, security, and network teams for secure cloud solutions.
- Resolve production incidents related to physical and cloud infrastructure.
- Perform preventative maintenance and firmware management.
- Coordinate with vendors for support, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Advanced knowledge of networking concepts.
- Proven skills in network engineering, operations, and performance analysis.
- Hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.
- Knowledge of computing infrastructures and server management tools.
- 7+ years in Network Administration.
- Experience with Cisco/Meraki switches and routers.
- Network design experience.
- CMSS, CCNA, or CCNP certification is a plus.
- Azure Network technology experience preferred
