Senior Threat Hunter / Reston, VA

We are currently partnered with a major telecommunications company that is rapidly expanding their cyber security team. They are currently looking for a Senior Threat hunter to help identify and mitigate risks cross functionally across different teams to ensure the security of their network and customer data. You will be responsible for conducting proactive threat hunts and developing strategies to improve detection capabilities. You should have a solid background in threat hunting and are up to date on security trends and technologies. This role requires candidates to be local to their Reston, VA office and comfortable going on site 2-3 days a week. Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of Security experience, with 3-5 years as a Threat Hunter
• In depth knowledge of Incident Response capabilities
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence tools
• Understanding of threat landscapes and conducting table top exercises
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
• Strong scripting skills with Python

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related STEM degree
