Senior Cyber Security Architect

A cyber security services provider is looking for an architect to consult with their clients on security strategy & design. In this position you will be working with internal services (engineering, managed detection & response, compliance, etc) and other business partners through change management, program standups, and security maturation.
Success in this role will be built on a high degree of technical knowledge in multiple areas of infosec (network security, cloud, engineering, architecture, and risk) as well as a strong customer/client-facing skillset from a consulting or sales/presales background.
This position will require regular travel to clients in the Richmond, VA area. Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ Years of relevant experience in
  • Cyber security
  • Information technology
  • Network architecture
  • Cloud security
• 2+ Years of experience in a consulting or presales position

Desired Skills & Experience

• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSK, etc)

What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown

• 80% Security architecture (Risk, design, etc)
• 20% Miscellaneous Security (Compliance, engineering, implementation)

Daily Responsibilities

• 40% Hands On

• 30% Consultation
