We are seeking a highly skilled Cinema and Gallery A/V Technician to operate Audio, Video, and Projection systems in our state-of-the-art facilities. This role will be responsible for operating systems for media demos. Film Screenings, Presentations, and Events. Additionally, this position will require weekday, weekend, and evening availability.

Job Functions and Qualifications:

  • Operate audio, video, and projection systems and provide technical assistance for our Cinema and Gallery demos and events.
  • Quickly and accurately route digital and analog signals through networked systems and physical patch bays.
  • Set up and operate small PA systems and presentation monitors for events throughout the building.
  • Assist in content management on projection systems, and general A/V systems maintenance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the projection booth, tech areas in the Cinema, and storage rooms.
  • Must have excellent customer facing skills and exposure handling critical high-pressure issues for all levels of employees, including ELT members.
  • Fundamental understanding of audio and video signal flow, projection systems, live sound mixing, wireless mic systems, and live event workflows
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, problem solving, and documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, collaborate effectively with event teams, and work well with others under pressure.
  • Competency in both Mac and PC Operating Systems
  • Experience with PowerPoint presentations in a Corporate Event environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent multitasking skills, able to manage multiple tasks while meeting specific deadlines.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, and comfortability addressing various levels within the organization.
  • Other title for search can be Cinema Projectionist.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and experiencing using Dante, ProTools, and Audio Architect. 
  • Experience using Crestron Systems 
  • Experience using KVM systems.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ of relevant experience
