Senior Linux Systems Administrator

One of the top researched-based biotech and pharmaceutical companies established in the U.S. This company has been publicly traded for almost a decade and is one of the most profitable in the industry. Hiring for a Senior Linux Engineer to join the global Linux team. This is a full time position and will be hybrid (3 days on-site in the South San Francisco office).
This Senior Linux Engineer will focus on creating the platform that will contribute to the company's research and design experts world-wide. The on-premise environment leverages the latest hardware including Servers, Storage, Networking, etc. Hiring a few generalists and a few specialists too. Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of Linux Systems Administration, specifically for on-premise and/or virtualized environments.
• Strong experience with Red Hat or RHEL.
• Strong scripting (Shell, Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)
• Strong at Ansible Automation in general.
• Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC).
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with setting up monitoring services, preferably Splunk.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, etc)
• Red Hat Suite of tools (OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Satellite, Foreman, Ceph, JBOSS, etc.)
