Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role at a large international bank.
- Hands-on experience with international wires, CHIPS, SWIFT, and book transfers.
- Demonstrated understanding of independent control testing and regulatory compliance processes.
- Familiarity with ACH, domestic wires, payments, and settlements.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprint cycles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Confident and articulate communicator, capable of interacting with high-level stakeholders and directors.
- Strong influencer with the ability to self-navigate and work independently.
- Critical thinker who is willing to question the status quo and engage in constructive disagreements
- Experience in API work
What You Will Be Doing
- Project Support and Coordination:
- Collaborate with independent controls testers to ensure comprehensive coverage of all regulatory and control testing activities.
- Provide support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project tasks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a liaison between project teams and high-level stakeholders, including Directors, to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data related to control testing and provide insights into regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and summaries to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with stakeholders across various levels of the organization, including Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, and IT.
- Navigate complex organizational structures and foster a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
- Regulatory Compliance and Control Testing:
- Understand and support the implementation of independent control testing frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work closely with independent controls testers to validate controls and mitigate risks, particularly in the context of international wires, CHIPS, SWIFT, and book transfers.
