Staff Security Engineer / Bay Area

We are partnered with a marketing automation company that creates SaaS solutions for start ups to gain a competitive advantage over their competitors. This company just went IPO and is looking to grow out their security team. They are currently looking for a Staff Security Engineer to help out with detection and response efforts in their AWS cloud environment. You will help with detection development and log ingestions. They ideally need candidates that know the ins and outs of AWS and containers. They are running Lacework, Crowdstrike, and Tines so a solid understanding of that is a huge plus. Candidates need to be local to the Bay Area and be comfortable going onsite to their San Mateo office every once in a while. Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in a Security role
• Prior experience with Cloud Security and Detection and Response
• Experience with AWS and orchestration tools is a must
• Solid experience with modern SIEM/SOAR tooling

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, or related STEM degree
• Previous experience in a software engineering role is a plus
