Job Title: Advanced Data Modeler

Location: Houston/Spring, TX (Hybrid - On-site required; occasional remote work allowed with prior approval)

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Data Modeler with expert-level proficiency in Spotfire and PowerBI to join their team. This role is pivotal to the design, build, and maintenance of sophisticated data models that transform complex business data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BI Modeling and experience with cloud technologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced data models using Spotfire and PowerBI to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Translate complex business requirements into effective and efficient data models, both physically and logically.
• Manage the data flow from databases through database management systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Structure data storage and processing to facilitate smooth and efficient data operations.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in BI Modeling, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide actionable insights.
• Review and refine existing data models to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency in Spotfire and PowerBI.
• Proven experience in BI Modeling, including designing and building data models.
• Strong understanding of database management systems and data processing.
• Experience with cloud technologies is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.

Additional Information:

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site required; occasional remote work possible with prior approval).
• Budgeted Rate: $85/Hr+ W2

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Previous experience in a similar role within a complex business environment.
