As a Senior Network Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the client's network infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. You will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Administration:
  • Configure, maintain, and support network hardware and software.
  • Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, outages, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Manage network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Windows Administration:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other essential Windows services.
  • Ensure system backups are performed regularly and data recovery processes are in place.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide tier 2/3 support for network and Windows-related issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new IT projects and initiatives.
  • Document network and system configurations, procedures, and changes.
Collaboration and Training:
  • Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and support of IT infrastructure.
  • Mentor junior network administrators and provide training as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in network and Windows administration.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments and related services.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
