Contract Duration: 24 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of COBOL experience
  • 5+ year of CICS experience
  • 5+ years of DB2 experience and related tools (BMC, Platinum, SPUFI, etc.)
  • 5+ years of JCL (Job Control Language) experience
  • 5+ years of IBM mainframe experience
  • 5+ years of systems analysis experience, applications programming experience or combination of both
  • 5+ years of experience in File-Aid, IBM Debug, IBM Fault Analyzer, SORT
  • 3+ years of experience in Job Schedule Management tools (ZEKE, Control-M, etc.)
  • 3+ years Change Management tools (Changeman, Endevor, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience with SDLC, Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
  • Experience with both the mainframe and distributed (modern software engineering) tech stacks
  • Prior experience in Wealth management and /or Portfolio Management & Trading applications
  • 3+ years of Agile experience working in Agile environment and product backlog refinement against ongoing engineering work, Agile at scale, conducting discoveries and process improvements to accelerate software development.
  • 3+ years of full stack application development experience
  • SDET skills & familiarity with automated software testing tools (e.g. Selenium, playwright etc.), experience in developing JUnit, JEST test cases.
  • 3+ years' experience with SDLC tools and processes including GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven, Harness or Gradle
  • BA/BS/BE degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of full stack application development experience
  • 3+ years Core Java development, Spring Frameworks, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 2+ years developing Microservices, JavaScript Frameworks including React, Angular, etc.
  • 2+ years of solid experience in cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and API integrations,
  • event based processes (eg Kafka)
  • 2+ years of RDBMS experience using Oracle DB
  • 1+ years of experience with MongoDB

What You Will Be Doing
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
