Grow your career as a DevOps Engineer with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.

Will be responsible for building up and maintain a shared pinot real-time data base platform, work with other team members across organizations, contribute to team backlog deliverables, control potential risk into production platform, working as a strong contributor on an agile team. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

Contract Duration: 12+ Months
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java or Python development. Clear understanding of data structures and object-oriented principles.
  • 2+ years of experience in Pinot/Trino/big data technologies.
  • Experience with all aspects of DevOps (source control, CI/CD, Tekton, Harness, Jenkins, uDeploy, etc.).
  • Experience with event-driven design and architecture (i.e., Kafka, Spark etc.).
  • Experience with containerization and related technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, helm).
  • Experience with agile and iterative software delivery.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Grafana and open telemetry observability platform.
  • Experience with Public Cloud, S3.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Apply depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development and DevOps lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • DevOps and Engineer solutions within an Agile software delivery team, working to collaboratively deliver sprint goals, write code, and participate in the broader company’s technical community and team-level Agile and Scrum processes.
  • Contribute to the design, documentation, and maintain of the shared real-time data platform leveraging the latest technologies and software design patterns.
  • Leverage technical knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues, as necessary.
  • Follow and contribute to defining technical and team standards.
  • Collaborate technical leadership to achieve established goals, in line with our broader technical strategy.
