UAT Tester

Grow your career as a UAT Tester with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7 to 10 years of experience in the financial industry or related technology or business analytics role.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience in financial services.
• Proficient with systems. Strong system reporting and experience with system changes.
• Experience coordinating UAT and able to write test scripts.
• Experience in technology implementations, particularly developing testing processes, test scripts and user acceptance testing.
• Comfortable working with multiple data sources and transforming into meaningful insights.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent writer and strong communicator to work with senior stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Advanced degree.
• Prior experience working in a risk management-related function.
• SQL and data analytics.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence or other IT project management platforms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, database or visualization tools.

What You Will Be Doing

• Independently analyze business processes and translate them into test cases and scripts.
• Independently gather business/product knowledge to support the review of user stories/functional requirements.
• Support the development of a holistic UAT approach to ensure user requirements have been clearly executed.
• Execute and/or coordinate UAT execution based on testing scripts.
• Report on UAT progress and outcomes, including developing presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Review issues & gaps identified in UAT with business and technology stakeholders to bring those items to closure.
• Support the preparation and review of documentation (including communications, training, user guides, etc.).
