Senior Microsoft Security Architect

The Senior Microsoft Security Architect will offer technical expertise in securely designing, implementing, and developing the firm's M365 environment. This role involves creating and enforcing policies to maintain the security and availability of the firm's M365 applications. The company is located in Tampa, Florida, and the position requires three days on-site.

The company is located in Tampa, FL and the candidate will be required to go on site 3 days a week.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Design, architect, and implement a secure M365 environment for the firm.
  • Lead the adoption and integration of Microsoft cloud security technologies.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Microsoft security suite, with a focus on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, MS-500, AZ-500, SC-900, and SC-4000.
  • Proven experience leading secure adoption of Microsoft security services for M365.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Defender Suite, including Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • Strong background in integrating identity and access management controls within M365.
  • Expertise in architecting and implementing event management and secure logging for M365 services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview's integrated data security services, including data encryption, classification, and labeling.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID governance and the ability to generate security posture and compliance reports for executive review.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze facts, formulate objective conclusions, and define problems and solutions.
  • Capability to adapt, integrate, and modify existing programs or vendor-supplied package programs for use with existing information systems.
  • Ability to work productively and maintain focus without direct supervision.
